Different Techniques & Modalities
Soft Tissue Release
locking and stretching the tissues of the body
Myofascial Release
a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying deep sustained pressure to help reduce connective tissue restrictions and eliminate pain and restore motion.
RockTape
RockTape is a stretchy and breathable tape that is used to support muscles and joints during physical activities. It improves blood flow, reduces pain, and provides support without restricting movement. It can be worn for several days and is water-resistant. So, whether you're an athlete or just want to protect your body, RockTape can be a helpful tool to keep you moving and feeling your best
PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation)
A more advanced form of flexibility training involving stretching and contracting a specific muscle. It can allow you to move freely and comfortably in your daily life, and can also help prevent injury during exercise. PNF stretching may be the most effective stretching technique for increasing the range of motion.
Cupping Techniques
an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including helping with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation, and well-being. Very effective when used with deep-tissue massage
IASTM
(Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization) a form of therapy that uses specially designed stainless steel instruments with unique treatment edges to deliver an effective means of manual therapy. IASTM helps me address soft tissue restrictions resulting in improved client outcomes. The use of IASTM, when combined with appropriate therapeutic exercise, can lead to the restoration of pain-free movement and function.
